Himanshu Agarwal will become chief financial officer and whole-time director of Info Edge (India) on September 17, 2026, the Naukri parent said after its September 14 board meeting. His appointment is subject to shareholder and other statutory approvals, and ends Ambarish Raghuvanshi's tenure as interim CFO at the close of business on September 16.

Economic Times and Moneycontrol independently reported the transition, while Info Edge's exchange filing sets out the formal timetable. Raghuvanshi will remain with the company as finance adviser and senior management personnel until October 31 to support the handover. The filing also says Agarwal will join the Risk Management and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting committees.

A finance brief with a broader remit

Agarwal joins from Cohance Lifesciences, where he serves as whole-time director and CFO. Economic Times describes his background as spanning finance leadership, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and business transformation across listed companies in India and overseas.

The timing makes this a clean succession rather than a sudden vacancy. Info Edge has operated with an interim finance chief since November 2025; the incoming CFO arrives with a defined start date and an overlap period for the outgoing interim leader. That gives the company a practical bridge as it continues to manage its internet businesses and startup investments.
