Stefan Aspman became president and CEO of Munters Group on September 14, 2026, after the board brought forward the planned handover, the Swedish climate-solutions company said on September 13. Aspman had been set to succeed Klas Forsström later in the year; the company said the transition and handover process had progressed successfully.

Munters' announcement was followed by independent market coverage from MarketScreener, which described the timing as a surprise while calling the successor choice logical. The new CEO is also reshaping Group Management from day one, bringing customer and offer-development decisions closer to the markets and aligning responsibilities around group priorities and transformation.

A data-center operator at the top

Aspman previously led Munters' Data Center Technologies business. Under the new structure, Andrew Cook becomes president of AirTech and joins Group Management, while Grete Solvang Stoltz takes on a broader Corporate Strategy & People brief. Line Dovärn becomes GVP for Investor & Corporate Relations, and Petra Gustafson takes a new enterprise-transformation and incubation role.

Munters says the new setup is designed to increase speed of execution and capture opportunities enabled by AI and other technologies. The company, which reported more than SEK 15 billion in 2025 annual sales and operates in more than 30 countries, is therefore pairing a faster CEO handoff with a visible redesign of the team around the next phase of development.
