Adam Chibib and IGT are putting a new finance leader at the center of the company’s next transformation cycle. IGT said Chibib will become chief financial officer on November 1, subject to regulatory approvals, succeeding Fabio Celadon. Celadon will remain CFO through October 31 and then serve as an adviser through December 31 to support the handover.
The appointment brings an operator with more than three decades of financial and operational experience across public companies, private-equity-backed businesses and high-growth technology organizations. Chibib most recently served as CFO of Raptor Technologies, which was acquired by Warburg Pincus in January 2026 after a transformation under Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity. Earlier, as president and CFO of Multimedia Games, he helped double revenue and triple profitability before the company was acquired for $1.2 billion.
IGT is not presenting the change as a routine succession. Chief executive Hector Fernandez said Chibib brings the public-company, private-equity and gaming experience needed for the current stage of IGT’s transformation. The incoming CFO said his priorities will be financial and operating discipline, capital alignment and a durable foundation for growth.
That language matters because IGT was formed through the combination of International Game Technology’s Gaming & Digital business and Everi Holdings. The group spans gaming machines, content and systems, iGaming, sports betting, cash access, loyalty and player engagement. Its finance chief will therefore be working across businesses with different investment cycles, regulatory exposures and cash-conversion profiles.
Celadon’s long transition is a useful governance detail. He has spent more than two decades with IGT and its predecessor companies, including senior roles in finance, strategy, corporate development and international operations. Keeping him available through year-end lowers the risk of losing institutional knowledge while Chibib establishes his own cadence.
The early scorecard is likely to be practical: integration discipline, portfolio performance, cash-flow creation and clearer capital priorities. The appointment gives IGT a finance leader with transformation credentials. The harder work begins when those credentials meet a complex operating portfolio and the company’s need to turn strategic breadth into measurable execution.
The handoff is intended to protect continuity while giving the transformation a fresh financial lens.
