Keysight Technologies has named Jason Kary its next chief financial officer, effective December 18, in a planned succession after Neil Dougherty’s 13 years in the role. Reuters and Seeking Alpha reported the change on November 2; Keysight’s announcement says Dougherty will remain as an adviser through fiscal 2027 to support the handoff.
Kary currently serves as senior vice president and president of Keysight’s Electronic Industrial Solutions Group. The appointment elevates an internal business-group leader into the finance role. CEO Satish Dhanasekaran said Kary’s selection reflects the strength of the leadership team and Keysight’s record of developing talent through diverse leadership experiences. Dougherty has been with the company for 30 years and served as CFO for 13.
The timing is clear: Kary takes over in December, while Dougherty stays in an advisory capacity during fiscal 2027. The company has not announced other leadership changes alongside the succession.
